THIS landed in my driveway today!!!! DOOH!
I am VERY glad I went to school today!
There were very high winds here and lots of trees blew down.
This landed in my driveway where I was parked this morning!!

Tomorrow I'll move my car next to the broken off tree for a comparison just to show how large that tree really is.
I am VERY lucky that Murphy didn't strike! LOL
But unfortunately, the wood is no good for firewood. It is an old dead sycamore tree; the wood is very soft, dry and semi-rotted, so it would only burn for a few minutes before it would be gone.
We're going to cut it up and throw it on the burn pile in the back yard.
I'm going to start cutting the rest of the tree down soon, too.

Some of the tree landed inside the dog's fence and it REALLY scared them!
The tree was so big, when it hit the ground, the whole house shook.
I had to repair part of the fence so the dogs did not climb out! lol
Here is a pic of my car next to it.
