Hi guys
just announcing the forth Egyptian Daewoo meet on Wednesday 11/01/2006 at 6 October... same place as the third meet.
no excuses are allowed... you all got vacation and cars and we can all meet in a distict place as "Hyper1" and move on to the location as we did last time.
as you saw the place got loads of space, higway roads and we got all the tools with us so we can test, drag race, modify and do wahtever we want at this remote place... yes it is far but defenatly worth it.
as always you can call me on 012/7335920 for arrangments and as i said before... NO EXCUSES ARE ALLOWED.

well... we postponed the meet date, it is going to be on Saturday as well are all too occupied during the vacation... you know family visits and all so it is better to make it on saturday.

again another adjustment to the date... Friday 13/01/2006 (friday 13... that doesn't seem nice) anyways it is more sutable for most of the guys and we got a video cam this time and we intend to do some nice action... wait up for pics and vids

yet another successful meet 
this time the participants were somewhat diversfied... we got Karim with a '98 Mitsubish Lancer and Ahmed (Zikas' older brother) with a '94 BMW 316 compact and Mohamed with a Renault clio... also we got Kimo2006 who is the newes member in the Egyptian daewoo community with a '06 Lanos... also we got the usual members Yasser with 1.6 A/T Nubira and Zikas with 2.0 M/T Nubira.
my dad took my car today for some family visits so i got no car that day
also Elhamy201 had exams and aymoon didn't show up... i hope his reasons are good or else i will be forced to hit him on the... face 
,also ubuyau and cpd didn't show so they will get some of that as well (j/k) 
this time we did some drifting, reverses, hand brake turns and all as we selected a spot of tarmak which was covered with a layer of sand... a perfict skid pad
of corse pics won't show what we did so we got it on video... unfortunatly we don't have the vids right now but i promis i will post them as soon as they are ready.
in short the beemer did the best donuts but still the lack of LSD made things a bit hard for the rear end to slide nicely as well as the small 1.6 engin.
Karim showed some nice moves specially in doing a reverse with the 1.3 Lancer, Yasser was all tied up with the A/T and it was very hard to play with the car but his younger brother Mahmoud did some good rear end sliding... the guy got skills.
finally Zikas showed us what you get from the combination of too much power with too little grip.... LOADS AND LOADS OF WHEEL SPINNING... the guy litrally smoked the whole block with dust and some times tire smoak, the car was really powerfull and did some nice dounuts.
we had an unfortunat problem when a guy with a Matiz (didn't get a chance to know who we was) tried to do some donuts and busted his left drive shaft ... the poor guy was towed by the beemer to his home till he get his busted woo fixed.
i can hardly wait for the vids and i am sure you all are... will be posting them soon.

the meet was very nice and it went fine except the matiz problem and also i discoverd the my water cap needs to be replaced coz the rubber valve it broken after all it was very nice (and also karim ate alot of bisckits and didnt' leave any thing for next time) i am now putting the vids on the computer and will send them to MMamdouh ASAP

Since so much talk is about me, I felt I must say something
I'm ZOREX, Zikas's older brother.
The ex-owner of a '99 Lanos SX, aka Juliet. It had 15" rims, SplitFire Sparkplugs and cables. A little mod in the Air intake. BUT because my life time dream is owning a bimmer, so here I am the proud owner of one.
As mentioned it's a '94 316i Red Compact, that I have owned for a couple of months. So I'm still picking up after the previous owner. You just wait, and you'll see one smooth ride . . . . eventually/hopefully lol
The daewoo meet was a nice day, unfortunately it turned sour. It was my first ever donut tryouts so excuse the inexperience. Still getting the feel for it. BUT, I promise moooooooore. and better too (I wish, lol).
It was nice to especially meet MMamdouh, whose posts we all enjoy.
One final note: The unfortunate Matiz owner is an old friend of mine, and I actually feel bad for pushing (heating) him into doing those donuts that wrecked the car. Anyway, I towed him home all the way to Manyal, so I feel a tad better.
I'm looking forward to seeing the group in the next meet, or maybe they'll just find me at their spot doing some PRACTICE.
