the album for the website is still down, i appologize for sending you there

boil some water, and dunk teh shifter into it for 5-15 minutes (some people have gotten it off in 5, myself, it took 15), and then pop it off.

you do have a shift knob with a lift up reverse recess, right?

take the boot off...

use a flat-head screwdriver and pop off the clip off the bottom of the shaft. rotate it to the left until it will slide towards the rear of the car. pull the clip thing out, and the shifter should lift right out.

okay man i don't know where ya'll left off at but you have to either take off the know completely (i haven't done this) and do the water thing or you can do what i did. i cut off the rubber part then melted the hard plastic piece off with a mini blowtorch while it was still in my car. now i don't recommend the blow torch for obvious reasons but you might be able to cut through the hard plastic as well. it'll just take longer unless you have a electric cutter.

you have to go to the album section and upload it there. if you have the pics on another website then just copy and paste the url for it.
