Timing belt replacement list?

what happens if I disconect the power steering pump and remove it, will it be hard to reconect once the belt is in?

i think it is OK... you will lose all your PWS fluid though.

why do you want to do that? you still can't slide the belt behind it? still having clerance issues?... i have to ask this; did you remove the PWS pump pully?

if you didn't then this explains why you are so tight on space behind the pump, if you did then i don't know why things are so tight, removing the pump can be an answer to the problem... remeber to refill with PWS fluid and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times before driving the car.

I finally did slide it behind the pws pump but it was really tight, I'm wondering if there has been damage to the frame of the car.
the pulley has been off but I cant remove it completely, it will not fit between the pump and the frame
