well... we are getting a set of slotted and cross drilled rotors from ebay and they are for a 1.6 Lanos so if the 1.6 Nubira got the same rotors as a 1.6 Lanos then we are ok but if not then we are screwed

Cross drill and slott rotors will eat your brake pads, have used them before didn't like them. To have better braking is to have better pads higher boiling temp, try EBC they are great have tried them before.

i warned the guys that are going to get them rotors about this and thay said it is worth it.
i can't get thease as i already abuse my pads... a set of them rotors will make me change pads every week, maybe if they were only cross drilled (non slotted) i would consider getting me a set.

indeed... but those are already bought and tested by Audacityracing... i say its a good feedback before spending our money.
if the company got cross drilled only then i might be intrested in a set... i already gave up the idea of cross drilling my old rotors in fear of cracking and all.

there are three companies in the united states that offer drilled/slotted rotors for all three models of old daewoo.
mmamdouh, perhaps you can use the rotors on your lanos next time you swap rotors.
if you want someone to act as an agent to get you some rotors, let me know and i'll see what i can do.

OH SHIT
Zikas is going to get ballistic when he knows this, i told him that the rotors will fit... now they won't fit his car and i can't use them unless i upgrade the calipers as well
the guy thaty is getting them rotors is supposed to be back to Egypt on Thursday... no much time to act as the rotors are paid for and supposed to be delivred to him today.
i should learn to STFU till i am 100% sure of my clames... now i am very very sad

OK i am trying to reduce the amount of loss as possible:
why wouldn't the rotors fit? i know both cars have the ame bolt pattern 4x100 so that won't be a problem, what about the diameter? i know the 1.6 lanos got 356mm rotors so what abiut the nubira??
if the diameters are the same then i don't see why it shouldn't fit... can someone confirm??
