What exactly is a "RICER" and is my car "RICER"?
AFAIK rice is some latin word for sucking at every thing you do so when someones' car is said to be a RICED car then it is full of shitty stuff and looks as bad as hell.
post some pics for your car or a link to some existing pics and we will tell you if it is rice or not.

The term "ricer" has sometimes been used as a racist term to describe people from the orient ( many rural people work in rice patties )
I have allways been under the impression that "ricer" as it applies to vehicles was refering to having a car that mimics the vehicles in Japan, China, Taiwan.
They love to install lots of chrome, lights, and whatever else they can get their hands on and throw it on their big trucks...... the more noticeable the better..... it's almost like an artform.... each guy tries to outdo the next.
Examples.....

So.... to me.... "ricer" means over the top exterior styling.
A car could have a $50,000 engine that makes 800hp but if the exterior has huge wings and crazy over the top modfications people will call it a "ricer" car.
So.... I don't think the term has anything to do with "all show no go"

to me a "ricer" is some one who does all the gaudy (spelling) stuff to his of hers car, like the over the top body kits, HUGE farting exhaust tips and over the top lighting, basically its trying too hard to fit into the tuner trend, its for those who dont really want a tuned car, but they want people top hink their car is tuned.
Rice:all of the above.

Ricer is what some dino-heap driving tard is going to call you at some point in time if you drive an unAmerikan car. If you actualy do own a car from asia that you did spend money on making fast not pretty you will hear ricer alot.
I like old muscle cars, but for my own personal use I will stick with a car, that stuffs about 50% of the cars it goes up against, is only slight modded and still averages 27 mpg mixed driving.
I agree about the posers who trick the outside and still only have 96 hp even if it is a show car. I would like my car to look sharp but I need it to be fast to satisfy my addiction to speed and the adrenalin it produces.
