timing belt kit 99-2002 Lanos

I was looking at timing belt kits and they advertise a kit for an A16D Lanos motor.Is that the correct code for my motor.They were charging $70 for the belt,tensioner and bearing.Is there a place to get it cheaper and will it have the same quality?

that's teh right motor...

and that's about as cheap as tehy come for all that. migth want to find out what kinda belt that is. the gates belts are a lot more expensive than that and last a lot longer.

someone who has done the full replacement could tell you

That's a great price. I don't know if anyone can beat that but GM charges more. I don't know but you might want to ask Tom at 360 Dynamics... still the price you posted is VERY low for all 3 items.
BTW, who's "they"?

my OEM timing belt was gates and currently i am on a DAYCO belt but i am going for the gates on the next replacment.

$50 bucks for the water pump OEM sound about right?is there a high performance pump for the car?and if so is it worth getting if your not putting monster hp on the stock motor?
