what?s up?? my name is hernando i have a daewoo nexia i wanna know what time did you guys do on the 1/4 mille with your woos, if somebody have a nexia or if somebody knows what time it can do please let me know because i?m in bogota colombia and my city is on 2600 meters over the level of the sea and any car its not on the 100% of performance in this conditions, so i wanna know how are your woos at the 1/4 mille.

please let me know the model of the car and the engine.

my 1.6L lanos runs a 15.7 at 1475' above sea level :)



not bad for the mods i had done when i ran it

yeah its a very good time, so what kind of mods do u have in your lanos???? your lanos its 16 valve right??? do u know about nexias???

With quite a few performance mods (nothing extraordinary) I'd guess it runs somewhere in the 16's 1/4 mile.

minus cams... on a NA motor, i'm putting 142hp to the wheels


10:1 compression (shaved deck)
stock internals
reinforced valve springs
mechanical tappets
teflon seals
port matched
polished
valve diameter reduction
ceramic bearings



that's just running a cai and cat-back with ported exhaust and no cats on street radials

You should be able to drop below 15.7 w/ those mods. My forenza has an est 125whp and weights 2855 when i ran a 16.1 on 40series cold tires

My best is 15.0... and is constant doing 15.1 and 15.2,

Cielo20 has a Nexia 3 door and does contant 14s, with a 2.0 16v (almost the same has i)

Travis, our friend who owns Apex Modified ran 11.07 in his SRT-4 with the engine de-tuned by nearly 40whp.

He was trying to keep the 1/4 mile time slow enough that they wouldn't throw him off the track.....but they told him that he couldn't come back until he had a full roll cage installed anyways.

With that extra power he could have moved into the 10's with his car.
