dash instrument ground wires location?

any body knows where are the dash instrument ground wires location?
i got a dimming when applying the brakes that was diagnosed as bad grounding at the dash.

hmm... according to the wiring diagrams, all the lights and guages run off of two grounds that combine into one. the wires are 19 and 23.

the manual also shows that the location og grounding is NOT inside the instrument cluster. i would assume that it grounds to the metal bar going across the top of the fire wall, but i'm not 100% sure. the two grounds are noted as being black wires as opposed to other colors for "hot" wires.

i saw that bar you are talking about but at which side are those two wires? passenger side or driver's side? also which is the easyest way to access them? (remove gauge cluster, remove glove box, go under neath the dash???)

i really have no idea as the wiring diagram doesn't show actual location, just schematically how the wires are routed

ic... thanks for the help man.

i was on a 2005 lanos today and noticed its dash lights are much brighter than mine and the wipers work faster than mine so i am having a big electrical problem somewhere and i am sure i will hunt each and every grounding spot i can find so solve this.
