ok, so my brother and his family moved into a farm house in the nearby county...

attached to the house is a HUGE barn and a HUGE garage...

inside the garage is an in-line 6 cylinder JAGUAR engine and transmission... fuel injected, has all the parts to run the engine including the ecu...

i'm thinking it's time to make a 400bhp go kart weight around 1400 pounds... what does everyone else think

i'd strap two t3's to it (to make it twin turbo) and push out around 650 hp...

who wants a ride  :?:

oh... there is a slight variance from that... my XK6 is the fuel injection version. the intake manifold is on the driver's side and the exhaust on the other (duh)

go-kart? 1400#? thats a big go-kart. I think 400bhp would be enough.. i mean... depending on how big you go wtih it you wouldnt be able to get much grip

we got this same car as a ZASTAVA... given the 6 cyl. jag engine and the weight of that car - which is right next to nothing - i say this car will be fast as hell... good luck trying to stop it.

Good luck also if you aproach a corner...

I would sacrifice some weight and build a roll cage and a lot of chassis reinforcements. But it sounds like a LOT of fun :p Go for it!
