Earlier in the year I had big problems with the car that turner out to be the AAC valve (dont hold me to that I know its a valve that is at the top of the engine) anyways the air con is not working and I'm strapped for cash so was wondering if there is some things I could check to make sure that it is not just disconnected somewhere?
I have been ripped off so much ni this past year that I dont really have the money to have it happen again.
It blows air but its hot, not as hot as when you turn the heater on and when you curn it on the is a strange noise that comes from the engine.
My ac in my woo didn't work for a long time... What happened was even the AC compressor died... I actually got lucky and bought one at a junk yard for 35$ and it worked after i installed it... (had a professional redo the freon) It was mid summer when the ac didn't work then i got it fixed... Now my heater core isn't working right... it actually warms up, then gets cold not too long after having the blower in use... but thats another story, not sure if your problem is related to the compressor, but it sort of sounds that way..
