yes indeed... the evo went sideways all over the road then got back on line... ok i guess things went a little bit out of control for a moment but the man kept his pants on and got every thing sorted out.
i've had a thought for a while now. one of my back hubs is stripped. well one of the stud holes is stripped. i was wondering instead of getting a whole new hub i was wondering if i should try to re-thread it. i figure that if it works then great only $25 at the most, if not then i'll just still be riding around the way i've been for like the past 6 months. what do ya'll think?

Helicoil. They worked on on my transmission mounts. I saw someone on here who has used it on their hub and says it works great!

No, I think you are talking about teflon. Helicoils are like a pre-made threading that you install by drilling out the stripped one so the helicoil fits in its place... correct me if I'm wrong.
