ECU location

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where is the ECU location ?? How is look like ? Is this expensive ? Should this be changed over interval period or not ?

1- can't tell you where it is untill you tell us what you drive.

2- it looks like this:

this is a typical 1.6 DOHC engine ECU.

3- it is expensive indeed... no idea how much wherever you are but i am sure it will cost an arm and a leg.

4- it is not a servicable nor periodically replacable part... only time you will need to replace it if it dies, other than that you don't have to do anything with it.

when it comes to car maintainance, more or less, just get it serviced when it needs it, keep an eye on the level of all your fluids, keep air in your tyres and you should have no dramas
