Performance Oil Pump

Post by PrecisionBoost »

I found an oil pump which increases flow by 30%

Here is a picture

I'm going to guess that it would sell around the $250 USD range.

Anyone interested???

There would have to be significant interest to make this something that could be ordered..... ideally a group buy would be set up if there was enough interest.

i'm to the point of running a 2ndary oil pump from a 2ndary sump because of my oil needs and the lack of flow from the oem model

What would be the benifits? I mean.. i guess there could be some power gained here but very minimal if any. Basicly just better life of the engine?

I know audicity would want it since hes gonna be running high rpms... im sure it'd help there

...Yeah but would that really make a difference?

I mean... there are running upwards of 125,000rpms but i still cant see much of a benifit.

i guess the big deal is that there will be two... plus a large oil cooler. the problem lies in that figuring it up, i'll have over 6 qts in there and the stock pump isn't strong enough to move that much around (with ease/efficiency)

i've been looking at a sperate sump and pump for the turbos and using a synthetic race oil, but i'd really rather keep it all in one system

only if u do over 12 then u would possibly need some better pump so u dont scuff bearings
