i just had to buy a new front end assembly...

Post by Audacity Racing »

soooo... i mentioned in the longest thread that i broke a wheel bolt off inside my hatch's hub while doing a brake replacement...

i took the car to a mechanic this morning (because i didn't have the bolt extractor and wasn't going to pay for one after i saw the cost plus the cost of a breaker bar). On ym way to the mechanic... i thought teh car felt as though it had a flat tire (only running with 3 lig bolts on the drivers front). my mechanic put it up, and we looked... and low and behold... the bolt had FRACTURED AGAIN!!!! so i had small pieces of a lug bolt floating around inside the hub... they caused a wee bit of damage...

i need a new:

hub
brake dust shield
rotor (was replacing anyway)
wheel bearing

grrr... it's gonna cost roughly 100 bucks to get it all plus 50 shipping to get it here monday[/i]

That totally sucks. Well you can buy some chrome lugs from me if Aneab doesn't buy them first. Just if you needed them though.
