do the msd upgrade and you won't have a problem

well... i have seen rather too much different feedback on this, i used NGK conventional V grooved sparks and they were great, switched to denso U shaped -ve pole and they were almost as good as the NGK and after 4000 kms switched to BOSCH super for (non platinum version) and it feels just like the NGK.daftmajin wrote:bosch platinum 4s do suck. i used them and after about three months i checked them and they were burnt to a crisp. I now use NGK laser platinums and I get way better performance. Nothing against Bosch because I know they are good, just not on Daewoos... IMO. I reccommend NGK or Denso on our cars. I have heard only bad about the Bosch's except from you and a few others.
my friend Aymoon switched to BOSCH super 4 (non platinum version) from OEM chanmpions and he said the difference is huge... later on he switched to split fire and he said it was as bad as the chapions, now he is running the BOSCH super 4 again.
IMO it depends on your car and what you were using before the swap.

those are the plugs i use now, great diffrence those were ome supra's, from my reading the only better are the iridium series.
maily what i read most import cars come with ngk stock, and denso (own mainly by toyota) parts and such are just about the same as ngk. actualy denso and ngk are the only ones to make that sparkplug

guys, if this plug works the way the company says it does. (ie. with a capacitor then it is possible that it might help a little bit.
first, a capacitor holds charges. when it is charged by the coil or power source, it stores all this energy. when it reaches its peak(equal to the power source), and the source is taken away, it discharges it self. this discharge can be very large depending on the size of the capacitor and how quick it discharges itself. this is the same principal as in which the MSD works. the MSD has a capacitor in it that is chagred by the cars power source. when peak charge has occured, it dicharges it self in to the coil in form of a much larger voltage. hence, you have greater spark at the plugs. so in theory, this plug works in the same principal as the MSD minus the electronic circuit that helps with multiple sparks at low rpms.
read up on this, it should clear thing up:http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/capacitor2.htm and http://www.msdignition.com/pdf/6212_frm%2024841.pdf
the better of the two will always be the MSD unit.
the plugs you will have to discard once spent and the price is outragous.
also, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
lets all refrain from insulting people on this forum. i know we all have good times and bad times, but if you let your bad time out here, it will just spread like wild fire(we all need a shrink sometimes). we are all here to learn. if we all knew all about daewoos, we all would not be here wasting time. thank you for you cooparation.

well the stock leganzas suppose to do 17.6 stock... my car did 17.69 to 18.1 with short ram extreme flow catalytic converter and flowmaster delta 40 muffler with 2.25 pipes from the fold... probably the intake mod and the spark plugs r to blameAudacityracing wrote:again though, you are making claims with the original lash and now this last comment, that spark plugs make or break your horsepower. if you can claim more than 1/10th of a second 1/4 time cause of your sparkplugs... you are running a lawnmower down the track :P
i can't ban you even if i wanted to 'cause i am not a moderator here but that doesn't mean i was not offended by what you said... OK you were not talking to me but still insulting a group member ? not to mention a close friend of mine - is just as bad as insulting all of us.Daew0Leganza wrote:does that mean on strike 3 u would ban me? my join dates much early than yours... and didnt mean to very offend everyone by my commentmmamdouh wrote:strike two!Daew0Leganza wrote: actually they r the real powe makers... read how it works you dumb ass

being an older member here doesn't mean anything at all... it only matters how much did you contribute to the community that you belong to... i guess my posts count clearly shows that as well as the "how to" section and the numerous problems that i have helped diagnosing and solving... even all that doesn't give me the right to insult anyone so i wonder what gave you the right to insult kenny??!
the "strike 2" thing was just a reminder that you are offending people too much so you better drop the attitude and play along, i wish this is the last time we have to discuss this issue... we are all mature people here and i think we can control our behavior.

how many miles on those old spark plugs? if they got anything over 12,500 miles then you need to change them for sure... if they got less milage than this but close to that (and i suppose it must be after 2 years of use) then it is recommended to do so.Daew0Leganza wrote: do u guys recommend me purchasing denso to replace my 2 yr old bosch?
most feedback that came concerning spark plug favored NGK and Denso and i personally think NGK is one step ahead of Denso, the BOSCH got so contradicting feedback from Woo owners but for me they work great.
in the end my advice is: most probably your spark plugs are old so yes... change them, better to get NGK rather than Denso but don't over rule BOSCH as they are still a reputable brand and i know they work well.

Look man, we're all friends here... we trust everyone. Don't be calling people dumbasses. That is really not acceptable here, it might be if you join some ricer forums, but not here... as I said we're all friends here. How can you mean no offense by cursing at someone? I say we should ban this fool if he does it again!
your gona have your timing off by 1/100 of a second, but then again the cap wount hold a charge because it's constatly releasing a charge, what your thinking of is the start capacitors on some motors they charge it and then a second switch releases the charge.debo890 wrote:guys, if this plug works the way the company says it does.
