Burned_out Headlight Plug

Post by Woo_Dis »

I was about to change my burned out headlight bulb, when i noticed that the bulb was fine, but when i pulled the bulb out, i noticed that the plug was half melted, and the wires were completely burned out....., Is there any way i can fix it without buying a new headlight? Or can i just buy any 9006 bulb attachment and splice it to my headlight?

tisk tisk, you didn't upgrade your wiring harness when you put in the aftermarket bulbs did you? lol, it's an easy fix. They cost about $5 per set (might even find them cheaper) and about a 20 minute job if you don't know what you're doing. Yep it's just a splice (and better to solder the connection) jobber. You can get the wiring harness at most car parts stores.

It happened to me before as well. I was running typical 55/65w blue ion bulbs.
