Well.... I guess I should see if I can put the fender back on.... it's pretty screwed up as well..... oh well.... it's going to get cut up once I get that wide body kit for my car so it doesn't really matter that much.

Hmmm..... perhaps I should go for a test drive before I fool with the fender.... the lower stabilizer bar is cut off..... and I won't have a replacement until monday or tuesday.... so it will proabably take another week to get everything to the point where I can drive it again.

With the control arm mangled up I couldn't remove the ball joint!!!!

I ended up separating it with a hydraulic Jack!!!!

In the end I had to push the suspension up a foot and a half before I could loosen up any of the bolts and drop out the contol arm.... each time I took out a bolt the whole suspesion moved..... the first part of the control arm moved 3" forward and 2" out when I droped out the bolt (which sorta caught my arm.... but I'm ok... it was just a few hundred pounds  )

wow... that looks very familar actually. i did a similar thing to my lanos several years ago and my control arm looked very similar.

i was lucky though and had the stock rims which took a lot of the grunt of the hit

Ya..... those are my stock rims.... during the "fun" I managed to scrub about 20% of my tread off my tires.... the corners have chunks of rubber missing

I have a nice set of Ultra light Centerline wheels for the spring.... well technically they were supposed to go on in the summer but I had a couple of tire deals fall through on me.

That reminds me..... I should try and dig up another deal now so that I can make sure that the tires and rims are ready as soon as spring hits.

And here I thought you were the holdup on the vids.... I was with a customer so I did't get a chance to talk to Tom before he headed out.... I wonder if he's going to work at APEX tonight... I'll give him a call.
