Lanos Power \ Electric Mirrors

Post by giga_matt »

Hi,

I have a Lanos S which i am wanting to add the extras onto (have already fitted an electric aerial ok and wired in the lanos guage with tachometer)

I have got hold of an offside electric mirror and also the version of the headlight adjuster with the mirror control. To wire it in i am hoping that the mirror motors are powered straight from the switch and that no other relay box or control unit is needed.

Does anybody have (or knows where i can get hold of) a wireing diagram for the lanos power mirrors?

If not i am going to have to test which pins in the switch & mirror do what by trial and error (is going to take a while).

Cheers,

Not me i hope 8)

I have managed to find the Pin-outs myself using trial and error.

Can now get down to installing and wiring in the mirror & switch. Ive also changed the green LED in the headlight adjuster to blue - would be rude not to as i had it out anyway lol.

If anyone else is wanting to do the same as me :- installing the SE electric mirrors into a Lanos S then i have made a diagram which will save you alot of time!

I mocked up the circuit with crocodile clips and a battery - works great
