Fluid rear end

Post by MMamdouh »

hi guys

ever since i had my accedent i am feeling that the car's rear is a bit fluid... i mean it feels as if the rear will lose traction when i flick the car.

what can cause that?? i had the mechanic check the whole suspension after the accedent and tighten every bolt and he said it was OK... also the shock absorbers looks to be good (no oil leaks or so)... maybe i lost my feel for the car after the spin and i need to get my feeling back.

i already got new wider tires yesterday but i didn't test the car since then... in the mean time i would like to know what do you think about this?

might be a stupid question but is the tire pressure okay? i know i feel my car seem wobbly when i hit like a bump in the road or if there is some little grooves it goes a bit crazy. but thats only when the pressure is low.

thats what i have been avoiding... i used to flick it while doing some 100 km/h before but now i am not confident to do so, maybe i am just scared to lose control again.

i guess i will end up having one of my Woo owner friends try the car and give me his feedback... if he flipped the car then their must be something wrong with the suspension.

Hey mamdouh, I hate to say this but you may very well have twisted the chassis a bit in the accident. If this happned the allignment of the rear wheels may be out. This may cause a looseness in the rear.

That antiroll bar is identical to the one fitted on the rear axle of the GTE and the GSi Astras like I had on my 'Woo. I'm not sure how retrofitable it is though.
