MR187.... your the administrator for Far west fours right? ..... are you from Australia???
Your car is very nice....not overkill....but really nice.
I really like black cars, I'm thinking about importing a black Lanos 1.6L SX to swap my 2.0L turbo into....then I'd have my plain red Lanos 1.5L S for testing the 1.5L SOHC and 1.6L DOHC parts I'm going to make.
I don't know why I love black, it only looks good if you wax it every second day and keep it ultra clean....I guess it would give me an excuse to use the pressure washer I got for Christmas.

I do think the same... your car is very nice...
I also love black but the main problem is that you have to keep it all day clean
Erfinder: so its now a black little beast?

I found a Black 1999 Daewoo Lanos SX hatchback with all options and the 1.6L DOHC for $3500 Canadian. (85,000km)maniac16v wrote:Erfinder: so its now a black little beast?
Given my little red 1.5L SOHC Lanos S hatchback has no options I'd rather sink money into the SX.
I'd drop my 2.0L into the Black SX and turn it into a show car.
I'd then use the plain red Lanos to do product testing with the extra 1.5L and 1.6L engines.
This way I could make modifications to the engines, drop them into the red Lanos and see what kind of power they make.
Who knows if it will work out or not, the SX is in Quebec so it's probably about 25 to 30 hours away from where I live in Alberta.
