12" to 13" OEM front rotors swap
here we go again... now with the 14" rims installed i have room for bigger rotors, i am thinking of getting the 13" rotors and calipers from a Nubira (same as the brake setup you got on the 1.6 lanos) so what do you think??
i have made a list of parts i have to get if i decided to go with this project:
1- Nubira 13" rotors.
2- Nubira front calipers.
3- Nubira front caliper bracket.
4- Nubira rotor splash scheild.
5- Nubira master cyilnder.
6- Nubira front brakes pads.
did i miss something?? i am sure it is worth to do this mod as good brakes makes you faster not to mention that is safer... need your opinion guys.

ummm the stock lanos rotors are 10" and if you are going to put 13" rotors on then you will need to get rim size 17" +. and i think the nubi has a 10" rotor also
i have upgraded my rotors to a big brake kit on my lanos and its a 12" rotors and bearly fits a 16" rim size
remember that big brakes make your car slower off the line but will stop way faster

i am not too sure of the correct diameters of the rotors so i can be mistaken about them.
indeed the lanos got the same rotors that the nubira got but thats on the 1.6 lanos and the 2.0 nubira... on the 1.5 lanos we got small rotors and they are as big as the ones on the matiz , the 1.6 nubira however got the same rotor size regardless of the engine type.

Re: 12" to 13" OEM front rotors swap
found out that the offset of the nubira rotors is different than the one for the lanos rotors... the nubira got 6mm more offset
also the calipers of both cars are very different... actually the difference is in the brackets, the piston part is the same
for the complete list of parts to do this modification, please check this post:
