Installing 4-point harness

Post by kinkyllama »

Im finally installing my harness (after like 6 months). Now with my backseat out there are some brakets that are in the perfect location for monting my harness on the rear part. But im not 100% its safe. What do you guys think?

Here are some pics, sorry there so big but i dont have time right now to fix em. I just found out i have a race friday and im working my ass off to get my car ready.

ps those are just thumbnails since the pics are so big.. you can probably see it fine there but click on it to see the full size.

pps: you might need like a 30inch screen to see the pictures in full size

thanks alot guys!

Another question. Turns out the bolts that came with the harness arnt long enough.. but the ONLY thing ANYONE has is this:

Image

The smaller one is the one that came with the harness.. its a grade 8... the one i bought is a bigger but is only a grade 2 or 5 (dont know exactly). Do you think this will be safe in an accident? Its only being used for two (of four) of the harness mounting locations.

gotta go grade 8, you'll get disqualified if they see that it's grade 5 even. you may have to order them off the internet from a fastener manufacturer.
