Rim Fitment

I want to put some 17x7's on my Lanos Hatch, but i need some type of adapter that has lug bolts on it so i can mount the wheels onto the hubs. any idea of what kind or where i can get them?

Why not simply use lug bolts instead of lug nuts?

It shouldn't be too hard to find the correct 12mm X 1.5 security lug bolt in the right length.

I'm in the middle of ordering some super light forged 18 X 7.5" Velox PG-20C rims so I will be searching for the same thing right away.

If worse comes to worse we can allways secure some bolts into the hub permanantly using a specific type of thread locking liquid.

This way the bolts will stay stationary in the hub when you torque up the lug nuts.

I will check into both options in the very near future and let you know what I come up with.

You mean do away with the stock lug nuts, but get some that are the same style , just not as thick so they fit into the holes in the rim?

Yes, unfortunatly modification may be required but this is what I want so I'm going to make it fit no matter how much of a pain in the rear it becomes.

I have a lathe so if needed I will simply shave down the stock lug bolts to fit.

I will let you know if I find a decent alternative.

ok i see, what size screws (bolts) does the lanos hub take? because if i could find the right size, then buy some security lugs that fit, as you have mentioned, this will be no problem as log as the offset is ok and assuming the rims arent too wide or tall (we have test fitted them, to an extent, but i am having doubts as to if they will actually fit. which brings me to another question: if the rims are 215/40/17, what is the narrowest tire i can put on them? 205? or higher? if i can get a narrow enough tire, it just might be enough so that they have good clearance all around. I am mainly worried about the front suspension being only about 1/2 inch away from the stock tire, 185.

215s shouldn't be a problem from what I've heard but there are quite a number of guys running 205s as well.

The Lanos uses a 12mm X 1.5 pitch bolt (not sure what length)

I hate to say it but the best way to test it is to slap one on your car and try it out.
