Ok so I went out and got an upgraded ground cable and I am stumped. On my negative batterey cable there are 2 wires taped together one which leads to the normal ground location on the body and then the other ties into a cable sheild(not the same cable just in the same plastic tube but seperate cables) with the positive batterey connection....any suggestions?
just one line? if so just run it from your battery to the frame, dont disconect the one going in the harnest, and you can take the old to frame and put it to the engine if it would reach if not then just double the wires to frame, or you can hook one to the main ground point on the engine.

I know which one you're talking about.
It goes from the battery into the main wire harness then comes out and connects to the top starter bolt (mounting bolt, not one of the 12v bolts on the solenoid). All I did was take it out of the harness and replaced it.
