Leganza Audio codes

I bought a used 2000 Leganza 3 months ago and have had to have it back to the dealer several times which has been frustrating because they seem to know nothing about the car! This last time they needed to replace my battery and now I have no stereo! When I called to get the code I was told they would have to find it on the internet and get back to me. The problem is that it is Friday and they will not be in until Monday and I have long trip to make this Sunday with my 8 yr old who will drive me nuts without the radio working! Can anyone help me? If you are not comfortable posting the code for all to see then please email me at keirasmom@rcn.com. I have a 2000 Leganza and it appears to be the factory stereo.

Also has anyone had trouble with the engine light going on for no reason? My dealer swears my car is fine but they can't get the light to stay off adn I'm starting to think they just don't know if anything is wrong. It's still under warranty so I would rather not go anywhere else yet. Thanks in advance for your help.

for the radio codes; try one of thease:

as for the CEL: go to auto zone, get it scaned then tell us the code you got and we will tell you what it is.

This is why I posted all the radio codes in the Welcome thread in the General section.
If people read it, they would see how much useful information is actually in it.

Even if you aren't new to the forum, there may be something in that thread that could answer something you have been wanting to know about.

Thanks for the information Cliff. I never even thought to look under the general tab, I was too frantic trying to find the radio codes so I was searching under evrything else. After reading your post I went back and read through the welcome page. You're right there is a wealth of knowledge in there. You are very thorough. Thanks.

I have a laganza 2001 CDX and I tried those codes and dont work.. I pulled my cd player out and dont know what numbers is the Serial number
It is model AKD-0636VA it has a green sticker w/number 00x7684205....on the side of the cd player is says 97T0627900...Part# 96331534..ID code EV
Does any one know what the radio code is because I am dieing without my cd player[/b]
