previously i had a resonator and no muffler. the exhaust dumped at the back axle. it was loud, but the intake was louder.
i'm hoping this isn't too loud, but after looking at it and knocking on it and stuff, this is a REALLY good muffler. the packing insaide is really good and the mesh looks solid and clean. i was goofing around with it and making car noises through the axle-back part and it sounds pretty quiet. i think i'll like it.
with the header, cat replacement pipe, and this cat-back, i should gain around 15hp. add that to the 2-3 from the cai and i've got a nice little gain

Okay... my setup... removed resinator with a straight pipe, and a straight through design muffler at the end (I have kept all the cats). The gains are noticable at the top end (4k and up)... the gains would probable be more than replacing a cat, but not by much... maybe like 2-3hp gain. Sound wise, you heard my clips... if not... check em out at:mmamdouh wrote:so what about them gains?? are they some 2 to 3 HP or what? and what about the sound? is it going to be horrable or not noticable?

I believe another member actually bought the Evofusion exhaust and it turned out being fairly loud and if I remember correctly, it sticks out a bit further than the stock muffler, but overall they were pleased. I'd find the post but I have no recollection of when or what section it was in, as it was just an add on to someone's post.
I confirm that.BosnianLanos wrote:I believe another member actually bought the Evofusion exhaust and it turned out being fairly loud and if I remember correctly, it sticks out a bit further than the stock muffler, but overall they were pleased.
