can someone tell me if theres a way of connecting my laptop to the computer on my daewoo lanos to get a diagnostic can this be done if so can u tell me how the reason im asking is i had a problem yesterday with my speed sensor i took my lanos to holden and they connected it to the computer and they said it was the speed sensor so i would like to dothis my self for other checks let me know asap thanks.

it is doable but you got to find a connector that fits the OBD socket which i don't know its name or type and you have to setup an OBD software on your laptop to readout the sensors and ECU's output.

http://www.digimoto.com has one. I havent tried it yet myself, but it's on my Christmas list. Not sure what adaptor you would need, but the MoBydic adaptor is supposed to support pretty much all ODB protocols.

The program will also read out sensor readings and give you some general dyno results.

If you try it, let me know how well it works.
