piston and PISTON ROD from C20LET

I wll star to make my nubira turbo on january and efrain recomend me the pistons and rod from the opel calibra but in PR or US opel cars are not in the market. Any one here can get me this parts?

both part nust be from the opel calibra 2.0 turbo

I can help you get you some used C20LET connecting rods...but pistons are usually expensive. PM me with your budget, and I'll see what I can find for you. Both myself and Erfinder are using C20LET connecting rods for our turbo conversions. I am going with stock LET pistons, but ceramic coated, Erfinder went with my former JE's.

I dont have an exact budget, but I know that i need the rods to be keep the engine wih out problems, I will star with a top of 10psi but just in case I want better pistons and rods, but rods is good to start... You say price, I dont care if they are used but I need them in good shape... that thing of ceramic coating on the piston sound good...

any how let me know I will also need the screws for the rods I think that you sell them right?

no... but Im not in a rush the project will be stared in Jan 2005 and the pistons are just a safety item for now... If you get any lower price let me know.... :twisted:

A good friend has still pistons and piston rods. He looks for a sentence good. The price for pistons and piston rods are then 240 usd.

What is the size of the pistons? Stock?

Mocpac => using previously installed stock sized pistons is okay, as long as your block does not require oversizing due to lack of parallel bore (usually on a high-mileage engines). If thats the case, stock size pistons will not seal properly.

The pistons from C20LET are forged (on the photo below, rods were debeamed and polished).

Ok, thatnks for the info.

I dont think that I will need to modify any thing in my engine. If they are really 86mm... well if both are the same engine.

I can offer now 4 pistons with piston rod for 240 USD to you. It does not go more favorably at present.
