How to burn a 900MB CD????????

Post by MMamdouh »

hi guys... i got myself some of those blank 900MB CDs to backup my files and all, my problem is my CD burn software (Nero 5.5.10.7) doesn't see that this CD got 900MB space so it refuses to burn the files because they are larger than 700MB

i also tryed to burn the CD using windows XP but i got the same result... any body know how to burn the friggen 900MB CD??

i think there is an option to let them know how much space is on the cd.

also you can just fit all the stuff on there and just do an "overburn" which can possibly damage but if your disc is made for it it should accept it...

*Jumps into Nero6*

when you get into nero, hit CTRL+I ... see if that'll let you work around it.

Nero version 6 and later allow burning of more than 700 mb.
Also, Sony's NTI burning software allows burning of over sized CDs, also.

I do not know about Roxio's Easy CD Creator software, as I have not used it since I think version 4.
