removing the fender wells....

is there any problem with doing so? since i removed the fog light covers the driverside one has been forced back onto the tire and has since shredded pretty badly and just needs to be removed... is it ok to do? or it there raw metal underneath?

when i put my bodykit on i had the same problem and so did shaun. all i did was cut off the part that was touching the tire. b/c if you take off the whole thing then your engine is gonna get soaked everytime you hit a puddle.

Happened to me too after my sister drove without the front bumper for a night. After that, I just cut off the shredded part and left the back part intact.

I don't recommend removing them as if you hit a puddle, water will splash all over the crank pulley and compressor and other important parts. Just cut the bad part off or get new ones.

However, the angle I have cut mine off at seems to have created some sort of harmonic frequency so that at certain speeds, a loud whistling noise is heard.

Speaking of this... same thing happened to me, however, it happened on both sides. I unthinkingly just took the whole things off and have noticed all those symptoms mention with removal and no longer have them.

Anyone have a parts car with the front fenderwells as well as those triangle covers that they mount to in the front?
