Need Pic of Lanos Head

Post by Brian5475E »

I need a good pic of the lanos 1.6 DOHC head and intake manifold bolted to it. I've been looking at manuals and it shows that the intake manifold mounts flat against the head instaed of a angle that I was led to believe

I can confirm that it mounts to the head at 90 degree, not an angle.

if some how injector bungts couyld be put into the lanos manifold it could fit on the aveo, and allow it to breath a little more.

So you think the Lanos manifold will have better flow characteristics??

What makes you think the intake swap will make more power?

Have you ever considered an aftermarket intake??

Personally I think swapping a factory intake for another factory intake won't do all that much.

I will dig around a little if I get some time but I'd bet that the current production European 1.6L ECOTEC engine has the same head as the Aveo.

i guess with the VGIS it will have better breathing for low and high revs... seems like a good swap for me.
