wheels, what color?

Post by kinkyllama »

Well my tires on my street wheels should be gone by the end of this month (unless for some reason i dont make all the track events). So im gonna buy two more sets of wheels.. one track and one for street. Anyone know anybody that could give me a good deal since im buying two sets of wheels/tires... and will be buying lots of tires...?

Anyways, im getting 18s.. but my four main colors i want are Black, gunmetal, Black with the machine lip, or bronze. What do you guys think? I hate chrome and dont care much for silver. I kinda am unsure if i want the black w/ machine lip cuz its becoming really trendy and i try to keep things more unique.. though it does look sharp. I think gunmetal would look bad on a black car since its like off-black but alot of ppl have told me that it would look good.

My cars black, limo tint on back windows and one shade away from it on the front, im tinting/painting the headlights and taillights black also. So im not sure if black wheels will just be too much. I like a clean look too.

Anyways what do you think?

if everything is gonna be black i say go with the bronze look. especially if you ever put any kind of vinyl stickers have them in that color too. as for tires try to find a shop that'll give you a discount since you would buy a bunch of tires from them or even a sponsorship maybe.

I say go with Nick's advice and get bronze. Bronze goes well with black. As for the place to get the wheels, give this a try... maybe email the seller and ask him if he'll give you additional discounts... but the prices are already really low. They come with tires and already mounted and the shipping is free for most of them:

Does anyone have any pics of bronze wheels on a black car? not photoshopped.. unless its really really good quality. bronze, not gold.

My ex gf (were friends)says it would look TERRIBLE.. and she has good taste. I like it.. but thats not enough for me to spend that kinda money, lol.
