Coolant leak

Post by patrick3002 »

I seem to have a slight coolant leak dripping right behind the compressor would you happen to have any ideas where this would be leaking from?

I've felt underneath alot of the hoses but their may be one crammed in there where i cannot reach to...

I have a 1991 Pontiac Le Mans LE 4-door.

Heres my car domain:

Lol, i found the problem.

My waterpump is leaking and my timing belt is worn, lol so i need a new water pump and new timing belt which is gonna run me around $500.00 parts and labor.
Add that to the $1923.00 i've already put into the engine, wow lol.

Timing belts are only like $60 and water pumps are also only like $60. The labor isn't very hard to do yourself, you just have to be patient as it gets annoying working in the cramped space where that bastard the Timing belt resides.

well... my Gates timing belt looks to be in a pretty good shape with 43000 kms on it, my DAYCO timing belt is fine too with 23000 kms on it so far.
