Using NO2 to spool a turbo where does the nitrous nozzle go?

Forced induction, NA tunning, exhaust, just performance

Using NO2 to spool a turbo where does the nitrous nozzle go?

Post by Big P »

Hey guys, if you wanted to use nitrous oxide to spool a turbo quicker where do you place the nitrous supply nozzle? Would it go in the intake tube before the turbo compressor, or after the turbo in the intake tube roughly 12-18 nches before the throttle body? Just curious, that's all. Thanks for any info, Paul Moore

What I have read about Nitro is that you cannot use nitro lower than 3000rpm. The backfire(in to the engine baby) might happen.

if you have a big turbo that dose not spool until full throtle, then you might need nos to spool it. you can put the nos at the intake manifold. the nos dont spool the turbo. it is the reaction in the engine with nos that does. the engine will produce enough hot gas to spool the big turbo. at low rpm, there is just not enough gas to do the job.
got drift?
