I know 2.0L swaps have been done into a Lanos, but an Aveo has less room under the hood, so I am not sure if it will fit.

Also, there are other things to conside, such as needing to move motor mounts, swapping the ECU, wiring harness, and many other things.

A motor swap is not just a direct drop in.

My main concern is if there is room under the hood of the Aveo or not; everything else could be changed as needed.

yep... its all about engine bay size, the Aveo seems to be little short on space.

Also, I don't know how stiff the suspension is, but the extra weight from the 2.0L could create some potential handling problems.
Locked
