how safe is Paypall

Post by kinkyllama »

How safe is it? I know a couple years ago i got ripped off $200 and the bank couldnt do anything about it so im kinda worried. Im buying something from someone for 350bux so i wanna be sure. He is another NASA (racing org.) member so im not too worried but still would like to be safe.

Thanks,
Danny

PayPal SUCKS! Those bastards rejected my international credit card AFTER I agreed to commit to an eBay purchase!! I went through literal HELL because of it...almost got a negative rating pinned on me! The matter went to dispute resolution with me, the seller and eBay...it was so embarassing. I eventually sorted out the matter and got my goods. NEVER again will I use eBay or PayPal. Screw them!

I'd stay away from it myself. Giving someone access to your bank accounts can lead to a really bad screwing.

True. I just set up a seperate account that I only put money into when I know I must Paypal Something. Otherwise I leave like a nickel to keep it activated. It would be funny if someone hacked it and stole my nickel.
