turbo manifold for a 1.6l twin cam lanos...
obviously a custom tuned manifold made up is the best option.
but reading some tech magazines here, and they say...
if your not going for huge hp, and indeed i won't be just an added 5-7psi, if your factory header has the right location of the flange if it does, then you can use it.
My thoughts are use my manifold as it does have a flange in the right spot, bolt a trbo striaght on.
does this sound feasable? would it work? the technician i speak of does have a lot of experience. but what idea's fromt the woo side?

Sure it would work.... if you made an adapter to fit the turbo onto the flange ( or welded a turbo flange onto the manifold)
The biggest problem is usually clearance.... it's quite possible that you might find that the turbo is too far out towards the radiator if you use the stock manifold.
If you have a spare turbo or know someone with one you should borrow it, remove the first catalytic converter and see how it fits.
