i drive a 98 lanos with the horizontal tail lights, does any1 no if the new vertical taillights will fit, it looks like a match but has anyone done it or tried
car is coming along ever so slowly, gotta stop getting my funds of the government

as for fitting in the body... yes they does but you got to mod. the wiring as the old ones are 4 bulbs setup and the new one is only three bulb setup.

I haven't tried to do the setup myself but it shouldn't really be that hard, you will basically have one extra reverse light and one extra brake light that don't have a place to go into the newer 2001 housing.

i personally prefer the older style rear lights...about the best feature on the lanos i think.

i just want to have clear 1s and u cant do it to te old 1s can u?

Nope, just 2001 and up. Also, the new ones are definately better whether stock or clear. Stock, it has this european look... which is hot.
