'00 Leganza CDX grille different from '01 Leganza SE grille

Well, as most of you know, I hit another deer last fall, and it broke off some of the screw tabs from my '01 Leganza SE's front grille.

I found a '00 Leganza CDX at the local junk yard that had an unbroken grille so I grabbed it.

When I got home to replace the broken one, I noticed the one from the '00 was different. It has flatter and wider vertical slats in the center part of the grille, and the center is raised and sticks forward more than the grille from my '01.

The grille from the '00 is now installed on my car and the grille that came with my car is placed on the bumper in front so you can see the differences.





Has anyone else noticed this?

P.S. The Woo badge is off the front of my car since the car has to go back to the body shop for more work & paint. It will go back on once all the work has been completed.
