For a better price you should PM Tom@360Dynamics.... I'm sure he can pick up a new coil pack for something more reasonable.

Hell.... for that much you could almost install an aftermarket ignition system.

I have changed all four spark plugs when this problem arose. As i had said in previous post. When i pulled out the spark plugs that were in the car and only about 2,000km old they were black :/ but my car doesnt blow any smoke.

So my thought is i have a nackered coil pack. Hopefully i can get some MSD coil's onto the car instead.

mmamdouh - you happen to find out whats needed to do to fit msd?

well see what Tom can do for you. There is just a lot of work involved in running external coils, from what i have been told.

tested the coils tonight and coil number isnt firing. So i have a faulty Coil pack. And damn do those coil packs have a strong spark. Lucky i didnt electricute myself when i was pulling the plugs off one by one testing to see which one doesnt work. anyways now i need a new coil.

Tom can you please pm me with a price for a coil pack + shipping to aus if u have it. Express post. because @ $495aud im not buying it here. Im going to start searching the wreckers tomorrow. If anyone in aus on these forums has coil packs for sale please pm me or email me awhinton@westnet.com.au

And remember..... what ever you do.... don't stick the spark plug wires on your tongue and have someone crank over the engine  ( unless your into pain )
or be like me.. and hold the plug wire in your hand while testing a MSD box with MSD Coils and having Chris Turn the engine over... lol that was a fun day

i once held the spark plug wire while it was off the spark plug and the engine was running with one knee on the ground... i could actually feel the sparks going from my knee into the ground.

in other incedent i removed the spark plug wire from the coil pack with the engine running... my finger was too close to the coil pack socket so the sparks jumped to my finger... my eye balls felt like they were going to pop out of their sockets

Ok. I thought you guys were smart. lol i guess not. I pulled the leads off the spark plugs one at a time with rubber insulated multigrips and i was wearing rubber gloves. Don't kill yaself guys.
