CODES

Post by LanosLvr »

Ok i took my 2000 lanos for its yearly inspection and got some codes for it. I have no idea how to look them up to find out what they mean...so i come to daewootech for help from my fellow lanos owners...

Here are the codes:

P0351- ignition coil A pri/sec circuit
P0352 - Coil B
P1792 - MFR Controlled transmission

Hope someone out there can help me! Thanks again!

the 351 and 352 codes means you got a busted coil pack... get a new one. i got no idea about the 1792 cose though.

Is it a common issue with lanos's for the coil packs to go?

You don't need to go to a garage to pull the codes..... you can buy a "code reader" that plugs into the OBDII port under the dash.

There are sites on the internet that show how to make a "home made code reader"..... it's usually an LED that flashes to give you the numbers.

LanosLvr.... I'd pull the info on the third code for you but I'm moving so I don't have access to my manuals at the moment. (using my In-Laws computer)
