Removing Dash

Hi guys!

I need help. My interior is all removed for paitning. The only parts left is my dash. Everythng that was connected to it have been removed, speedometers, heater control, radio, ect... The thing is I don't want to break anything. anybody have a diagrame or know how the remove the last part

when you say dash, do you mean the part that goes arround the gauge cluster, or the whole dang thing that goes from drivers side to passengers side? If it's the part arround the cluster, you can go to daewootech.net and click on "how to's" If you mean the big one, I have no idea

I havent taken the whole dash out of my parts car yet, so I have no idea how.

Maybe someone else in here has removed it and will know how.

it's a pain in the dick to get it all out. you have to start at the stereo and work your way around. i'm sure somebody's already written up a how-to. check http://www.daewootech.net they have all sorts of handy shtuff like that.

As I sayed everything that was easy to removehave been done ( the how to on daewootech.net cover only for the start of the operation) now i'm stuck.....Only the big gray monster left

Ok, first off, make sure that you removed the battery cables and disconnect the air bags. Then what I would do is remove the glove box, and start search ing for bolts. There should just be a few bolts holding it on and probably some sealer to keep it from rattlin'. Let us know how it goes and possibly document what you did.

i tried, and i gave up many weeks ago, its just to friggin hard and it seemed like it was going to break before it would come out
