Well.... since KW has been ignoring me I've been looking at other posibilities....The Reno suspension is not unique... just like all GM products.... it's shared with at least one other chassis. :D

I am glad for you guys.... and I hope things work out with KW.... I just wish they had let me know that there was another company inquiring about their Lacetti/Nubira suspension.

I just noticed the KW logo on the WTCC lacetti.

Anyways, you dont happen to supply stronger/bigger sway bars too do you? I dont know much about suspension but with stiff struts and springs how would the car act with such skimpy sway bars? I'd think it'd still have a good amount of body roll

Sometimes roll at one end of the car is desirable. For example, if a tuner wants the car to oversteer around corners he uses smaller anti-roll bars at the front. This allows both front wheels to stay flat on the road while allowing the rear of the car to roll as one unit (so raising the contact patch of the inside rear tyre off the ground, inducing a spin). Stiffer bars at the front will bring about understeer (or "push" as those morons in NASCAR tend to say).

Yeah, KW sponsors the WTCC series as a whole, but they don't make the suspension for the WTCC Lacetti, unfortunately.

Yes, we will be supplying sway bars along with the coilovers. We ran the rally this past weekend with the stock sway bars and more than anything, the sway bars are affecting the steering. With just the KW coilovers we have now, we can virtually eliminate body roll 8)

Right on. We disconnected our rear sway bar half way through the race and noticed a big difference in the amount of understeer the vehicle had.

Tango, im aware of that. But there are many things you can do to change the handling charastics of a car. The car will handle completly differnent with the coilovers too so i cant yet say if it has too much under or overstreer. Plus i need several more track hours before i start messing with that stuff. I really should have more track hours before i even add things but i have my reasons (dont wanna hijack the thread)

It looks like there is some interest in this vehicle after all. Just when I thought we were going to be overlooked by all the big aftermarket companies. Thanks for putting in the time on the Reno Chip. Your companie's hard work and hopeful victories will help bring the aftermarket to us. I hope you guys do well, and the site was great to read over and watch the video. :D
