We'll be giving these a true test next weekend at the Treeline Rally (http://www.treelinerally.com).

Also, check out our updated website if you get a chance, http://www.b-moto.com. We've got some cool video action on there and will be updating it with more soon.

Yo Nick,

The coilovers were a custom order, but they were built specifically for the Reno. The only modification we had to perform was to drill three holes in the front strut towers to accommodate the new mounts.

It's Flash Video M...kinda hard to link. But go to the site link like he gave us and scroll down under the Reno and you'll see "B-MOTO TEAM VIDEO"...that should satisfy your curiosity. DAMN...that car looks SWEET!

So you guys have any plans to market parts for this chassis? It's a chicken and egg situation with these things. If the parts are available people will buy. Parts makers won't make the parts available until enough people are buying. What are you guys gonna do?

Yes, we definitely plan to market most of the parts that we end up designing for the rally car. A lot of parts will not be the exact same that we put on the competition car, but we are planning on offering very streetable versions of the same designs, as well as some competition parts. Currently, we're doing testing on many different components and hope to begin offering products soon :D

Those bastards!!

I've been emailing them for ages now... requesting that they make me as set and they kept telling me that they have to go through some "testing" to make them legal for use here in North America.

The guy I was talking to said that there needs to be more interest before they will bring over the suspension from Europe and he told me to check back with him every couple of months.

Needless to say I send him an email here and there and they never respond.

Perhaps because they know that your using them specificly for a race vehicle they made you a set....perhaps they don't want to get into a situation where the suspension is being used on the street.

Oh well.... I guess I will have to bug them even more now that I know that they made a set for you guys.

Erfinder,

I'm sorry that you seem to have had a bad experience with these guys. I can assure you that they have been nothing but positive about working with us on this, but we definitely put in our time. We had extensive conversations with them to assure them that we were a very legit race team and we also sent them our full stock suspension system. At that point they worked with their Germany manufacturing facility to determine that they could make it, wanted to make it, and we are now a part of Team KW. We even had our President and VP fly over to Germany from LA to sit down and meet with them. They now have the necessary tooling to build the street version and we will be providing them with test data and fit data. The coilovers will then go on sale to the public in a bolt on coilover version and a fully adjustable coilover version. This should all happen by the end of the summer. We will be more than happy to make sure that you can get a set at that point :)

Kinky,

There is a rally in Prescott in the beginning of October. Are you close to there? I understand that the best way to see this event is to actually volunteer to work the course at one of the time controls. You learn a lot about rallying by doing that, meet a lot of cool people, and get as close to the cars as possible. We would love to see you out there! Let me know if you want any more info...
