Lanos Exhaust Manifolds compatibility with other cars

Post by AcingTeam »

Hey guys, would these manifolds fit 1.6l Lanos?

Does Astra MK2 has the same exact engine/suspension as Lanos? The prices aren't bad at all.

Thanks,

Igor

?330 GBP = $601.99 USD and the shipping for the heavy product probabally wouldn't be less than $100.

And didn't WooHoo just put some Honda headers onto his turbo Lanos? You can get Honda headers for under $200 for a good set on Ebay.

Not an overall bad find though :) .

Well, those honda headers require some modification... plus he got a turbo header, so an N/A header doesn't necessarily will fit. The flange might not line up and it might not bend properly where the oil pan is (issue with sharkracing lanos header).

Money wise, I didn't do the conversion... in my head I thought that a pound would be just a bit more than a us dollar.... I was wrong. So the price is pretty high.

Still the question remains the same, is MK2 identical to Lanos or not?

Thanks,

Igor

LexMaul makes some great stuff.... but I'm not entirely sure about the compatibility with the X16XEL.

It looks the same but someone like Stef would be the best person to ask since he's very familiar with the Vauxhall engines.

For $600 USD I'm sure you can get a custom made manifold somewhere in the USA.... and the shipping from Great Britain would probably be at least another $100.... probably closer to $150
