How much did you pay for your Turbo XS T3??

What size of T3 did you get?

I'm really tempted to get one of those $199 XS Power T3's from Ebay but I wasn't sure about the quality of their products.

Here is an example.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 63418&rd=1

it hasnt arrived yet.. my sister bought stuff off this guy before so he does good business

it wasnt a 199$ but that is a good price, i picked up one of his deals that comes with the wastegate and BOV and wastegate downpipe

almost all his turbos say GARRETT INTERNALS, so that has to be worth something.. when it gets here ill be sure to tell you if its worth it or not

they are not water cooled.. well atleast they dont look like it,

Erfinder@PrecisionBoost wrote:Just make sure there is some slack on both sides of the studs.... you don't want the manifold to expand and shear off the studs.

It's better to have big loose holes than tight ones.

The slack won't affect sealing.... that's done by the compressive force put on the nuts and studs.

Looks good.... glad to see you made it fit without too much trouble.

it has plenty of slack :)

i was wonder.. when i take off the stock mani.. it is like seized on there it is so tight.. why doesnt it bust off the studs?

ya gotta take out that AC compressor...

At least with the manifold pushing out that far, it doesn't look like ya have to relocate the oil filter.

Just one question, did you plug the place on the block where the EGR gets the exhaust gas from. I notice that that certain manifold doesn't cover the EGR port that the stock once used. Would you get an exhaust leak from there or did you solve it some other way?

actually there will be no leak, it is a flat surface.. but the egr valve will be pluged with a simple metal plate

Here is the turbo I picked up....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... AMEWN%3AIT

It's a T3/T04E hybrid and it's a little bit larger than I wanted.... if it's too big I will sell it to someone with a larger engine.

$250 USD for an oil cooled ball bearing T3/T4 design is pretty decent.

I would have been better off with a T3 60 Trim or T3 "super 60" trim but they didn't have any cheap ones.
