you can download a service manual from there. It doesnt tell you how to remove stuff as such, but the exploded views of everything may help you work it out

That doesn't help none. I am already to the last step of the process, which is actually pulling the pump off of the crankshaft, but there seems to be a problem. There is a big washer that is behind the crank sprocket key, that is holding the pump on. How in the hell do I get the pump off of the crank?

The allen key is a press fit. Tap it lightly with a hammer and it will come off. Then you can slide off the oil pump off the crank.

The allen key? Are you talking about the key on the crank, that goes in the groove of the crankshaft sprocket?

Chris, I found a local donor nubira in a junkyard, which has the oil pump in tact.

Thats the one. Normally a light tap and it comes off... try to put a flat scredriver at its base (parallel to the crank), and give it a wack towards the engine...just dont lose it. It must come of to remove the oil pump.

So, say I do get it off (by some miracle), how do you put it back on? Do you reuse the same one? Thanks.

post a pic to make sure thats what you are talking about. i have take my 2.0l engine so i'll definatly know what you are talking about. but tom has you on the right track. it might need a little more of a wack if it is proving difficult. but like tom said, "DON'T LOSE IT". if the flat blade screwdriver dont work, try a star screwdriver. place the tip of the screwdriver in the groove of the key. then tap it with a hammer toward the engine. dont worry much about scratches in the groove. and yes, it is reuseable, but if you can get a new one do it. now what washer behind the allen key are you talking about? pic. pic. pic.
got drift?

it could be the way you tap on it... note that this part is inserted in a groove on the crank shaft so the way you tap on it should be in the direction where you are trying to pull it out rather than moving it backwards or any other direction.

i hope i explained that in a clear way.
