Hey OZ,

I finally bought those LEDs like you said. I got 100 of them with resistors. I'm going to change the interior lights sometime over the winter. ha maybe I'll have ya come up for a weekend or something since you're so close. BTW, I have family in Norfolk, maybe I can come down for a weekend. Either way I can't wait to get them done. It's gonna be sweet.

Discounts eh?

So are we talking $50 CDN per night???

A while back they used to have great weekend packages to Vegas.... you left Friday night and came back Sunday night.

I think it was like $99 CDN or something close.... now that two out of our three major Canadian airlines were purchased by the biggest one our rates suck.

If you want to go to Europe it's actually cheaper for me to book from Los Angeles than it is from Vancouver (west coast above Seattle)

The stupid thing is that the flight goes from LA to Vancouver before heading off to Europe!!!

Thats cool. Did you get the LEDs that glow blue or project a beam? I have the ones that project and they are VERY bright. I think they'll be great replacements for the dash lights.

If you come down here, definately let me know.

If you want blinding bright ones I know where you can get 5W LED's in various colors including blue and blue/white.

The LED's you listed are only 100mW = 0.1W

I purchased a 5W (comes with a heat sink!!!) for about $17 Canadian.

It's as powerfull as a high output flashlight.

I accidentally touched the power lead to the case when I was examining the inner reflector and nearly blinded myself.....I saw spots for a good 3/4 of an hour.

I will go find the link to their site.... http://www.lumileds.com/

Last time I came to Vegas we found some shady hotel on the outskirts that let eight of us crash for $12 USD per night.

Needless to say it wasn't the kind of place you would want to stay in... there were a couple of hookers and a drug dealing pimp setup just outside our door.

But then again it was bigger than the van....and we were so drunk we really didn't care.... I love the free drinks thing.... the Casino's must have lost money on me.

I think the most guys in the hotel at one time was three or four.... some stayed up all night partying and drinking....some took off with women they picked up.....it was your typical road trip/party situation.

 Yep....the snow is so deep I only get out once a year

My sled dogs get tired pulling me all the way to Las Vegas.....maybe it would help if it snowed there once an a while

Man...where is a "smart ass" Emoticon when you need it?

We also played drinking games all the way down to Vegas....which took about 23 hours with us driving in shifts.

I think it was something about downing your drink if we passed a cop car and at any signs with the word "Salt Lake City" on it. (that was a blurry couple of hours)

Luckily we never had a problem with sober drivers.... it worked out to be about 3 hours for each guy so you didn't get to start drinking until you finished your shift (last two guys don't drink so it worked out good)

I'd love to take you guys along..... but I don't know if you can keep up with us Canadians.... I've been known to down 40 Oz in 24 hours and still be standing.....well sort of.....ok maybe I need a little help.

Is that all??
I can finish 64oz of tequilla or whiskey (one or the other, not both) in 2 hrs and not even have a buzz!

I've got a really strong alcohol tolerance. :) (I'm 1/2 English & 1/2 Scottish)
I think my weight (300 pounds of mostly muscle) has something to do with it, too.

Who would want to drink 64oz of tequilla... I'd rather drink rat piss.

But then again I'm an idiot :D

I'm told my record is 47oz of Rye and Coke (Rye is Canadian Whiskey) in a timespan of about 3 hours. (my buddy counted for me)

Needless to say I don't remember drinks number 30 to 45 but I do remember going home (my girlfriend was pissed at me)

One of my buddies downed an entire 26oz bottle of Whiskey in less than a minute.. ..needless to say he passed out a few minutes later got a trip to the hospital to get his stomach pumped.
