ouch!

I was in a parking lot yesterday and saw a Lanos from a distance. As I got closer, I saw the parking space next to it was unoccupied, so I parked my Leganza there.

The first thing I noticed was that it was a Lanos Sport, 2001 or 2002.
THEN I noticed it had been scraped, dented, bashed, and looked like they had almost taken the car to a demolition derby!!

The fenders were scraped and pushed in, the corner lights were broken out, the doors were dented, the roof looked as though someone had jumped on it, the wheels had been scrubbed along a wall or a curb, and the passanger side looked like then had driven along a concrete wall or along the rail of a bridge!

This POOR Lanos! How could ANYONE do that to their car?!?!?

I don't know it it had gotten like that from an accident, but it sure looked like it had to have had more damage than one accident.

Inside the car was just awful. Trash, empty bottles, fast food wrappers and all kinds of junk were piled up. The back seat had a towel over it and more trash piled up over that.
The stock radio was missing and there was just a hole in the dash. The leather seats were torn and may have had a dog chew holes in them.

I wanted to rescue the car from that owner.

Maybe the car had been stolen and recovered and insurance was going to total it instead of fixing it, so he just kept it as it was.

I don't know, but I wanted to make the car look new again ... and would if it were mine.
